Description

A letter from an unknown author to J.M. Mills of the Union Pacific System Company in Kansas City, Montana. 14 September 1915. A two page, typed letter. The author confirms that Mr. Mills' letter has been received and that he will be sent a descriptive folder of the North Whittier Heights subdivision. The author states that unplanted and planted tracts are available and heaps praise at Southern California's citrus and walnut industries in general. According to the author, Florida is the only other state that can compete with California's citrus and ahuacate production. The author also predicts that California's ahuacate industry will eventually be as well-developed and profitable as its citrus industry. The author offers to give Mr. Mills more detailed information if he is interested in any of these industries, and suggests that he can write to entities such as the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce to learn about the merits of the author's firm. With tears on the right side of the document and discoloration throughout, the object is in fair condition overall.
