Description
A letter from an unknown author to James A. Murphy in Los Angeles, California. 3 September 1914.
A typed, 2 page letter draft where the author would like to leave his car with James A. Murphy for a few weeks and have work done on the car. The authors salesman, Mr. Hazzard, may need to borrow the car from time to time to take clients out to the property, and has arranged with the garage for a driver, which he will pay for upon his return. Since Mr. Hazzard may borrow the car, all needed work can be put off till the 13th of September. The author will be back in town on the 15th of September and will be by to pick up the car. The last page of the letter contains corrections in pencil and type.
The pages (a and b) have holes top left corner from a straight pin, damage along the bottom edge, and discoloration on the top and right side. This object is in good condition overall.
