Description
A letter from an unknown author to John G. Miller in Cleveland, Ohio. 28 October 1915. A two page, typed letter. The author confirms that Mr. Miller's letter has been received and that he will be sent a descriptive folder of the property in the Whittier Foothill section. The author states that the prices of one and two year old orchards in the section range from $700 to $800 per acre, and that the orchards may be worth $1200 to $1500 per acre in ten years. The author lists details about the trees and crops raised on the orchards as well as the terms of sale. The author suggests that Mr. Miller can refer to anyone in Southern California, or, ideally, visit the property personally to learn its merits. With adhesive in the top left corner which is holding the document together, some smudged text, minor discoloration, a rust stain, and water stains, the object is in good condition overall.
