Description

A letter from an unknown author to L. Blydenstein in Enschede, Holland. 25 March 1915. A three page, typed letter. The author confirms that Mr. Blydenstein's letter (Object ID: 2017.41.1.768) has been received and that he will be sent a descriptive folder of the North Whittier Heights property. The author states that about $450,000 of the property has been sold since it arrived on the market in the year of 1913. The author lists the prices of unplanted lands as ranging from $450 to $800 per acre and the planted lands from $700 to $1025 per acre. The author goes on to give his estimates of the net profits that certain orchards and groves could produce. The author mentions that an orchard should not be planted any later than June for optimal results and that his company also has properties available in the La Habra valley. The author will gladly provide more information if Mr. Blydenstein so desires. There is adhesive in the top left corner holding all three pages of the document together, and discoloration is present on the edges of the pages. The object is in good condition overall.
