Description
A letter from an unknown author to L.A.S. Kiles in Neenach, California. 30 July 1914.
A typed letter in response to a letter (object number 2017.41.1.556) requesting information on North Whittier Heights. Unplanted land costs $400 to $800 an acre and comes with water rights. Terms of sale are 1/5 down, 1/5 in 2 years and the balance in 5 years. Successful orchardists of California are investing in this property, which indicates the merit of the land. There are already 800 acres of groves planted and the author is confidant that Mr. Kiles will be able to find work in the area. The author will be pleased to take Mr. Kiles out to see the property. If Mr. Kiles can not make it out to the property then the author will be happy to send him information on available properties.
There is damage to the top left corner, a hole in the top left corner from the head of a straight pin, and discoloration on the top and right side. This object is in good condition overall.
