Description

A letter from an unknown author to L.D. Woodworth in Covina, California. 23 January 1914. A typed letter following up with the sale of land from the North Whittier Heights subdivision. The author was visiting Mr. Alson Vincent, who informed that L.D. Woodworth had also been out to the North Whittier Heights subdivision. The author went to call on Mr. Woodworth, but he was not home. The author spoke to a woman, presumably Mrs. Woodworth, who informed that he may take on 10 acres in March. The author would be please to take Mr. Woodworth out to the property. They are expecting much activity in the sale of planted and unplanted lands now that the road through Turnbull Canyon has been completed and towesite plots will soon be offered. Many plots have been sold to local and successful citrus people who are familiar with the lands value. The author believes anyone who buys these lands could make a considerable profit. There is rodent damage on the left side, two tears on the right side, and discoloration along the top and right side. This object is in fair condition overall.
