A letter from an unknown author to Lucy May Finch in Northloup, Nebraska. 9 May 1914.
A typed letter sent with the contract for Lot 11 in tract 2472 of North Whittier Heights for them to assign the land to Jason J. Ortega. Lucy Finch's son sold the property to Mr. Ortega. The contract and money have been deposited to the authors office, where it will stay until the enclosed contract is returned and the transfer is made. A payment of $513 was due on the 23rd of December 1913, which the author gave an extension to Mrs. Finch's son. That money is due by the 23rd of June, 1914. Also, $139 in interest and money for work done on the property will be due at the same time. Mr. Finch said that Mrs. Finch was expecting money but was afraid she would not get it so he sold the property to get his money out and let the property go. The author would like Mrs. Finch to assign the contract on the back in front of a Notary Public, and send the contract back with the Notary's documents.
There is a crease in the top left corner, water damage on the right side, and discoloration on the top and right side. This object is in fair condition overall.
