Description

A letter from an unknown author to Mrs. John S. Watts in Wildomar, California. 24 February 1916. The author confirms that Mrs. Watts' earlier card requesting a list of available farm lands (Object ID: 2017.41.1.1020) has been received. The author specifies that his company has many available properties in Southern California, but focuses on providing information about the North Whittier Heights subdivision. The author states that Mrs. Watts will be sent a descriptive folder of the property and lists the prices of its unplanted lands as ranging from $450 to $800 per acre and its planted lands as ranging from $775 to $1050 per acre. However, the author notes that Mrs. Watt will not be able to make exchanges for any these lands. The author asks for more details about the type of property that Mrs. Watts is looking for and the terms that she would find satisfactory so that he can find her suitable offerings. With minor acid burns, a minor tear, and early signs of foxing, the object is in good condition overall.
