A letter from an unknown author to Nick Goddicksen in Corseca [sic], South Dakota. 19 July 1916. A two page, typed letter. The author has misspelled the city of Corsica, South Dakota as "Corseca." The author states that he is providing details about a 100 acre tract of land between Puente and Covina at the behest of the recipient's brother, Peter Goddicksen. The author explains that enough buyers have nearly been secured to co-operate in the purchase of the property. If the deal is successful, then each buyer will get their respective portion of the property at a favorable price. The author describes the water rights and availability for the property, values the land at $550 to $600 per acre, and states that the recipient, Nick Goddicksen, should wire his brother if he wishes to secure a portion of the property. With adhesive in the top left corner which is holding the document together, creases, wear, minor tears, a minor acid burn, rust stains, and minor foxing, the object is in good condition overall.Lexicon
