Description
A letter from an unknown author to O. Mendenhall in North Whittier, California, 20 May 1913. North Whittier Heights is enclosed on the South, East, and West protecting it from frost and has an elevation of 350 to 750 feet which is perfect for citrus fruit. The soil is best for lemon and orange culture and water is inexpensive and piped to each tract from concrete reservoirs so there will always be water. Lastly, land costs $700 an acre with 1/5 down which is a great price. With discoloration and tears, the object is in good overall condition.
