A letter from an unknown author to O.P. Gaustad in Fairbanks, Alaska. 12 January 1914.
A typed letter regarding O.P. Gaustad's property in Orchard Dale and about the North Whittier Heights subdivision. The author writes that Mr. Gaustad's property in Orchard Dale is looking really good, and is the bast looking property on the tract. The winter has been beautiful so far with nice rains and no frosts. The author has expected and hoped that Mr. Gaustad would have come down for the winter, but since he did not show up, he hopes to see him next fall. The author is going nicely, and his North Whittier Heights property has been moving well, considering the financial condition of the country. They are going to subdivide a townsite on the property. With this and other improvements he expects the property to go quickly. The author would like to hear back from Mr. Gaustad regarding Alaska and when he expects to return to Southern California.
There is minor abrasion damage on the bottom right and discoloration on the right side. This object is in good condition overall.
