A typed, 2 page letter draft, in response to a postcard (object number 2017.41.1.628) requesting information on North Whittier Heights. A descriptive folder will be mailed under a separate cover letter. Unplanted land has been divided into 5 to 50 acres and costs $450 to $800 an acre. Several acres have been planted to oranges, lemons, grapefruit, and walnuts. This land is being divided into 5, 10, 15, and 20 acre tracts and costs $775 to $1025 an acre. With the completion of Turnbull Canyon Road and the townsite, the demand for and value of land will increase. Several successful citrus growers have invested in North Whittier Heights. The author then lists some of these buyers so R.T. Chase can contact them regarding the merit of land and reputation of business. The letter is closed with an invitation to come out and see the property. There are several correction throughout.
The pages are glued together in the top left corner, discoloration on the top and right side, and holes in the top left corner from a straight pin. This object is in fair condition overall.
