Description
A letter from an unknown author to S.J. Calm in Omaha, Nebraska. 19 February 1915. The author confirms that Mr. Calm's inquiry about the North Whittier Heights orange, lemon, grape fruit, walnut, and avocado land subdivisions has been received and that he will be sent a descriptive folder of the property. The author explains that the property is divided into tracts of different sizes with unplanted lands beng priced from $450 to $800 per acre and planted lands from $700 to $1025. The author notes that about $450,000 of the property has been sold since 1913. The author recommends that Mr. Calm should refer to entities such as the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce to learn about the merit of the property or by touring the property personally; however, the author recognizes that the later option would be difficult due to Mr. Calm being located so far from California. There is adhesive holding together the pages of the document and some slight discoloration on the edges of both pages. The object is in good condition overall.
