Description
A letter from an unknown author to T.T. McCarthy at the Read-Miller Company. 11 December 1918. Text beneath the signature line refers to the "Sales Manager for North Whittier Heights." The author confirms that he has received Mr. McCarthy's letter, in which he suggested that the author's employer, the Whittier Extension Company, start a new advertising and publicity campaign through the Read-Miller Company. The author states that his company has nearly sold all of its property and therefore does not see a reason to buy more advertising. However, the author states that he will contact Mr. McCarthy if his services are ever wanted. With severe discoloration, minor tears, faded text, minor flaking, and brittleness caused by the acidity of its paper material, the object is in poor condition overall.
