Description
A letter from an unknown author to the Day & Night Solar Heater Company in Monrovia, California. 5 November 1917. This document appears to be a modern copy of another letter from the HM Collection (Object ID: 2017.41.1.1403). The author states that he has enclosed two documents with this letter: a check for $86.60, which is a partial payment for the solar heater that was installed at his ranch home in North Whittier Heights, and a statement from one of the company's men. The author suggests that he can remit the company for the remaining balance in the following week and expresses his satisfaction with the heater. With a minor tear, minor stains, the object is in good condition overall; however, the printing quality has made the text hard to discern in some areas.
