A letter from an unknown author to the John Deere Plow Company of S.F. in San Francisco, California. 15 January 1917. In response to an earlier letter, the author states that he paid for his cultivator with a $45.06 check to Phelps & Frost, and that he has a receipt of the sale. Thus, the author explains that he is unsure why the John Deere Plow Company has not received a remittance from Phelps & Frost. With minor tears, minor acid burns, and minor moisture damage, the object is in good condition overall.
