Description
A letter from an unknown author to Thos. F. Wileman in Fillmore, California. 7 December 1918. The abbreviation "GTR:G" near the signature line may refer to Grover T. Russell. Additional text refers to the "Sales Manager for North Whittier Heights." The author confirms that he has received Mr. Wileman's earlier card regarding the North Whittier Heights subdivision in Southern California, and states that he will be sent a descriptive folder of the property. The author explains that its unplanted lands range from $325 to $950 per acre while its orange, lemon, and walnut lands range from $700 to $2,500 per acre. The author briefly discusses the terms of sale and merits of the property. The author then states that Mr. Wileman should notify him if he would like to come to Los Angeles and see the lands. With severe discoloration/acid burns, minor tears, minor flaking, and brittleness that is caused by the acidity of its paper material, the object is in fair condition overall.
