Description

A letter from an unknown author to W.H. Crook in Whittier, California. 22 July 1914. A typed letter stating that the author has talked to Mr. Hart regarding W.H. Crook's proposition to buy a 1.65 acre lot and for the Whittier Extension Company to take the remaining trees he has left out of the 500, after he has planted what he wants, at $.50 each. Also, Mr. Hart has agreed to plow and level the lot for Mr. Crook, at the companies expense. They are also willing to peg out, dig the holes, plant and irrigate the trees at Mr. Crook's expense. The letter is closed by the author asking Mr. Crook to contact him is he is willing to take the deal. There is some warping of the letter and discoloration on all sides. This object is in good condition overall.
