Description

A letter from an unknown author to W.H. Crook in Whittier, California. 23 March 1916. A two page, typed letter. The abbreviation "GTR/K" on the second page may indicate that the author was Grover T. Russell. The author states that Mr. Crook's earlier letter regarding Mr. Hayes' request to discuss his property's pipelines and roads, as well as Mr. Crook's question about his commission (Object ID: 2017.41.1.1047), has been received. The author clarifies that the voucher for Mr. Crook's commission on the Cook deal will be mailed the same day as this letter. The author would like Mr. Crook to meet with Mr. Hart of the Whittier Extension Company, Mr. Sinsibaugh of the Realty Investors Company, and Mr. Hayes at his office on Friday to talk about the pipeline arrangements and a road connecting to Los Lomitas Drive. Mr. Crook states that he supports the creation of the aforementioned road and feels that it will benefit both the Whittier Extension Company and the Realty Investors Company. The author offers to provide assistance to ensure that Mr. Hayes will receive the road improvement. With adhesive in the top left corner which is holding the document together and early signs of foxing, the object is in good condition overall.
