A letter from an unknown author to W.H. Crook in Whittier, California. 27 March 1914.
A typed letter in response to a letter (object number 2017.41.1.407) regarding the sale of Lot 48 in Tract 1953. Enclosed was a duplicate contract, made out to Dena J. Frazier. The author corrects W.H. Crook, stating the lot is 5.277 acres and not 5.227 acres as Mr. Crook had stated. When Mr. Frazier comes down, Mr. Crook can either bring him to the Los Angeles office so contracts can be signed or Mr. Crook can obtain the signatures and bring the contracts himself. $691.55 is still due on the down payment. The author suggests Mr. Crook calls the office to make sure him or Mr. Hart will be in when he stops by. When the contracts are signed, that is when they will release the water stock.
There is discoloration on the right side, a small tear on the right side, an acid burn along the top, a stain on the right side, and creases on the bottom left, top left and along the bottom. This object is in good condition overall.
