A letter from an unknown author to W.H. Crook in Whittier, California. 30 September 1913.
A typed letter in response to a letter W.H. Crook sent (object number 2017.41.1.218) to an unknown recipient regarding a trade of property. The author is asking Mr. Crook to trade his 5 acre property is Orchard Dale for the authors 40 acre property in Kern County. The author would rather have money over additional property, as he already has more property than he can develope. The author writes that the property in Kern County would have to be pretty attractive to even consider it. Also, $900 the author would consider $900 an acre, as he has spend so much money on improvements. The author will be happy to get a descriptive folder for the property in Kern County so he can investigate the merits of the property.
There is a brown line on the left side, a tear at the bottom, tears and folds on the rights side, and abrasion damage on the right edge. This object is in good condition overall.
