Description
A letter from an unknown author to Wm. Burke in Puente, California. 12 October 1916. This appears to be a revised version of an earlier letter (Object ID: 2017.41.1.1214). The author states that his company has closed a deal to sell William A. Brown the easterly 6.88 acres of lot 18 in tract 2768. The author explains that the company has agreed to care for the property, excluding pruning and special work, for the balance of the year or until the tomatoes are taken off of the lot. The company also agreed that the trees in the 40 foot road strip near the property will be left in-place after the Tetley Avenue extension. With a fold, an ink stain, a minor tear, and creases, the object is in good condition overall.
