A letter from an unknown author to Wm. Burke in Puente, California. 13 April 1916. The abbreviation "GTR/K" near the bottom of the document may indicate that this letter was written by Grover T. Russell. The author, at the behest of Mr. Sutton, requests that Mr. Burke install an irrigating pipeline sytem on Mr. Sutton's property at his earliest convenience. The author also states, at the behest of Mr. Merritt, that Mr. Burke should hurry along the work of planting and white-washing Mr. Merritt's avocado trees since warm weather will be coming soon. With minor acid burns, minor tears, and early signs of foxing, the object is in good condition overall.
