Description
A letter from an unknown author to Wm. Burke in Puente, California. 8 March 1916. The author has been informed that the trees on Mrs. Cooke's lots in tract 1953 need to be hoed around. The author explains that the expense will be charged to the Whittier Extension Company, and asks, at Mr. Hart's behest, for Mr. Burke to carry out this service in a timely fashion. The author also states that Mr. Merritt no longer needs the Company to plow his property, lot 25, but would still like the work on lot 26 to be completed. The terraces on lot 26 need to be repaired, and the property also needs to be planted to avocado trees. With minor foxing, smudged text, minor ink stains, and a minor tear, the object is in good condition overall.
