Description
A letter from an unknown author to Wm. W. Buffum in New York City, New York. 1 April 1915. A two page, typed letter. The author confirms that Mr. Buffum's request for information regarding the North Whittier Heights orange, lemon, grapefruit, walut, and avocado land subdivisions (Object ID: 2017.41.1.793) has been received and that he will be sent a descriptive folder of the property. The author lists the unplanted lands as ranging from $450 to $800 per acre and the planted lands as ranging from $700 to $1025 per acre. The author notes that about $450,000 of the property has been sold since the year of 1913. The author suggests that Mr. Buffum can refer to entities such as the Los Angeles Chamber of Commerce to learn the merits of the property, though it would be more ideal if he could to travel to Los Angeles and inspect the land himself.
