Description

A letter from B.D. Gray, Corresponding Secretary at the Home Mission Board of the Southern Baptist Convention, in Atlanta, Georgia to Russell and Maple Realty Company in Whittier, California. 21 March 1920. Mr. Gray states that he would like to sell his 10.099 acres of North Whittier Heights land in lot 22, tract 242 to eschew its related expenses, and also because his acquaintance, Mr. Church, has left that area. Mr. Gray states that he wants to sell the property for $1,800 net per acre, though he understands that Mr. Russell and Mr. Maple may add more to the price to cover their 5% commission. Mr. Gray asks that Mr. Russell and Mr. Maple make their best effort to sell the property within 30 days on the terms of one-third cash with the balance on a 3 to 4 year mortgage at 7% interest. With a hole, creases, minor acid burns, two tears, minor foxing, and minor discoloration, the object is in good condition overall.
