Description

A letter from C.A. Verity in Pomona, California to G.T. Russell in Los Angeles, California. 16 April 1917. In response to Mr. Russell's earlier letter (Object ID: 2017.41.1323), Mr. Verity provides information regarding the Los Angeles business blocks which his office would like to exchange for a walnut grove. Mr. Verity states that one is a 3-story, $40,000 building that has leases and a mortgage of $18,000 for 3 years at 8%; the other is a 2-story, $50,000 building that has a lease and a mortgage of $11,000 for 3 years at 8%. Mr. Verity asks to be informed if Mr. Russell finds either property to be suitable for a deal. With creases, pin holes, minor foxing, and minor acid burns, the object is in good condition overall.
