Description
A letter from C.E. Seares in Whittier, California to Russell & Maple in Whittier, California. 19 July 1921. A two page, typed document. Mr. Seares states that he and his associates want to list for sale lots 23 and 25 of the Willard Tract in Whittier. Mr. Seares explains that the property has a 9-room house, fruit trees, and other improvements. Mr. Seares prices the property at $10,000, of which half is expected to be paid in cash, for 60 days, and states that a 10% commission will be given to the sales agent. Mr. Seares also states that the buyer will have to assume a $5,000 mortgage at 7% interest for 2 years, and that an appointment to see the property can be made by phone. With creases; moderate and minor acid burns; and pin holes, the object is in good condition overall.
