A letter from C.O. LaRice in Wittier, California to Edwin G. Hart in Los Angeles, California. 11 November 1914. A letter on letterhead from the Whittier State School. The letter is requesting a descriptive folder and map of North Whittier Heights. Mr. LaRice would also like to know if they would be willing to sale 2.5 acres, which in 5 or 6 years would pay out in monthly payments. The letterhead has a drawing of the school in the top center. Across the drawing is the name "Whittier State School." Above this is the name of the Governor of California. The top left has the names of 3 trustees and the top right has the name of the superintendent. There are creases from the letter being folded, and abrasion damage both front and back along the folds. This object is in good condition overall.
