A letter from Charles Morey in Puente, California to an unknown recipient. 2 April 1915. A handwritten letter. Mr. Morey states that he and his constituents have submitted details about the orange and lemon land at Whittier Heights to a Mr. Whittaker of Monrovia along with a map. Mr. Whittaker wishes to buy 10 acres. Mr. Morey was able to show Mr. Whittaker a grove, but did not have any more time to spare; thus, Mr. Morey is asking the recipient to take Mr. Whittaker onto the property and feels that this may result in a sale. Mr. Morey is also asking the recipient to send another map with prices. There is a handwritten note in pencil on the back of the document. With one crease from top to bottom, one crease from left to right, and some minor discoloration on the top edge, the object is in good condition overall.
