Description
A letter from Clarinda Temple Bancroft to F.P.F. Temple, 17 July 1857. Sent from Reading, Massachusetts and addressed using his birth name of Pliny F. Temple, the short missive concerned three pairs of stockings knitted by their late mother, Lucinda Parker Temple, and which were intended to be given to him on a long-intended trip to his hometown (he did not return until 1870). With golds, creases, a few small stains and soiling, the condition is good.
