Description
A letter from Clarinda Temple Bancroft to F.P.F. Temple, 18 January 1857. The missive noted it was 16 years to the day since F.P.F. left "to make a fortune" in California and informed her brother that their sister Cynthia, who was long in poor health, died on the 6th. She went into detail about her last illness, lamented her loss not long after the death of their mother, Lucinda Parker, and expressed a desire to see F.P.F. again. With some discoloration and creases, the condition is good.
