A letter from D. MacPherson Boyd of the Whittier Extension Company to Grover T. Russell in Los Angeles, California. 20 November 1913.
A typed letter on letter head from Torrance, Marshall and Company, in which D.M. Boyd responds to a letter (object number 2017.41.1.253) he received the day before. Mr. Boyd acknowledges that he received a check of $102.45 from H.M. Jordan and has used the money to pay for the interest on Lot 92 from April 15 to October 15, 1913. Mr. Boyd writes that they have noted Mr. Deaver has transferred his interest in Lot 92 to Mr. Jordan, but they have not record of this in their office. He asks that Mr. Russell provide the needed information.
In cursive, along the top is the company name of Torrance, Marshall and Company. Below this is the company address of 111 West Fourth Street in Los Angeles, California. To the left are the city names Los Angeles and San Francisco. To the right is a list of people associated with the company.
There are heavy creases from being folded, small creases on the left side (possibly from being handled), early signs of foxing on the left side (front and back), and the back has abrasion damage along the folds as well as soiling on the left side.
