A letter from D.A. Mizener in Los Angeles, California to Grover T. Russell in Los Angeles, California. 8 July 1917. A handwritten letter on a letterhead for D.A. Mizener. Mr. Mizener explains that he wrote Mr. Smith regarding Mr. Russell's commissions from the July deal and that Mr. Russell has seen Mr. Smith's response letter. Mr. Mizener states that another letter from Mr. Smith has been enclosed with this letter. According to Mr. Mizener, Mr. Smith feels that, altough Mr. July is late on interest payments and other matters, he may be able to sell and pay off his land if prices increase. Mr. Mizener, however, expresses concern that they might have to take back Mr. July's land at some point in the future. With creases, ink stains, minor foxing, and a minor tear, the object is in good condition overall.
