Description
A letter from Edwin G. Hart of the Whittier Extension Company to B.K. Bunker in Anaheim, California, 15 June 1913. Responding to Mr. Bunker's request (object number 2017.41.1.114) a descriptive folder of North Whittier Heights is being sent, which includes a map of Southern California showing the location of the property and a map showing the subdivided plots. Land has been divided into tracts of 5 acres or more with planted orchards costing $875 an acre and unplanted at $500 to $800 with cheaper land needing leveling before planting. Loan terms are given, townsite is mentioned, and tracts less than 3 acres are listed. With holes from a straight pin, discoloration, creases, and wear, the object is in good overall condition.
