A letter from Edwin G. Hart to D.M. Boyd in Los Angeles, California. 25 May 1914.
A typed letter copy where a check of $645.56 was sent to D.M. Boyd. The check was from Olen Marvin Finch and his mom, Lucy May Finch and is to be applied to the principal of lot 11 in tract 2472 of North Whittier Heights. It is also to pay for the interest, labor, taxes, and water. A receipt is not necessary, as the Finch's have assigned the contract to James J. Ortega, who in turn has assigned it to Dr. W.E. Smith. A new contract is being made out to Dr. Smith dating the contract at the date of payment.
There is a fold in the bottom left corner, creases on the left side, and discoloration on all sides. This object is in good condition overall.
