A typed letter on letter head from the Citrus Protective League. Mr. G. Harold Powell sent Grover T. Russell's letter requesting information on the lemon industry to the Citrus Protective League. F.O. Wallschlaeger will mail, under a separate cover, league bulletins number 9 and 10, regarding the California Lemon Industry and Italian Lemon Industry. California and Italy are the two areas producing lemons at any important degree. In 1912, Italy produced 297,000 tons. The League is producing a bulletin on the world's production and commerce of citrus fruits and they have placed Mr. Russell's name on a list of recipients. Mr. Wallschlaeger suggests Mr. Russell call the office if he can not wait for information on the citrus industry.
The center of the page has the name and address of the company. It reads "Executive Committee / Citrus Protective League / of California / 740 Consolidated Realty Bldg. / A.F. Call, Attorney / F.O. Wallschlaeger, Secretary." To the left and right are a list of people associated with the League.
There are creases from the letter being folded, soiling in the upper left, browning along the top edge, discoloration on the right side, and abrasion damage on the back along the folds. This object is in good condition overall.
