Description
A letter from Franklin Esquivel to F.M. Fowler of Chino, San Bernardino County, 18 November 1885. The letter (a) regards an inquiry by Fowler about dealers in marble, specifically in obtaining Dover Marble from Italy. Esquivel enclosed a business or trade card (c) of Los Angeles Marble and Granite Works, owned by William Declez a sculptor and designer. On the reverse of the card is a pencil inscription with dimensions and cost of marble and cotton. The letter and card were enclosed in an envelope (b) with postage stamp of two cents. Overall, the lot are in good condition.
