A letter from Geo E. Cross of the Puente City Water Company in Puente, California to Edwin G. Hart in Los Angeles, California. 29 January 1916. A typed letter on a letterhead for the Puente City Water Company. Along with this letter, Mr. Cross has also enclosed a letter from Mr. Griffith regarding the Exhibit for the National Orange Show at San Bernadino (Object ID: 2017.41.1.994). Mr. Cross feels that Puente should be represented at the show, but the treasury of the Puente Chamber of Commerce is unable to pay the expense described by Mr. Griffith's letter. Mr. Cross would like to know whether Mr. Hart can start a subscription that will cover this expense. With creases, early signs of foxing, and pin holes, the object is in good condition overall.
