Description

A letter from Gertrude Butner in Calpella, California to an unknown recipient. 2 February 1917. A two page, handwritten letter. Mrs. Butner asks if it would be possible to exchange her ranch property in Calpella for a property in the recipient's part of the state. Mrs. Butner describes the property as a 44 acre ranch with a 5 room house and which is planted to pears, other assorted fruits, and wheat. Mrs. Butner states that she can provide the property's price and full particulars in another letter. In a postscript, Mrs. Butner asks the recipient to deliver this letter to a real estate firm. With creases, pin holes, a fold, minor acid burns, and minor foxing, the object is in good condition overall.
