Description

A letter from Grover T. Russell, Sales Manager for North Whittier Heights, to R.T. Chase in Monrovia, California. 3 May 1917. Mr. Russell states that an influx of business has kept him from responding to Mr. Chase in a more prompt manner. As requested by Mr. Chase, Mr. Russell describes some properties that are for sale in North Whittier Heights. Mr. Russell reminds Mr. Chase that he had previously entered negotiations to secure the 6.32 acre Foster lot, which has a house, is planted to orange and lemons, and is priced at $8,600. Mr. Russell also explains that there is a 4.56 acre property at North Whittier Heights which is planted to oranges and priced at $1,100 per acre. Mr. Russell briefly lists three more properties that are 4.15 acres, 2.94 acres, and 7.72 acres respectively. With minor foxing, minor acid burns, creases, a piece missing, and minor tears, the object is in good condition overall.
