A letter from Grover T. Russell, Sales Manager for the Whittier Extension Company, in Los Angeles, California to A.O. Johnson in Los Angeles, California. 18 June 1917. A typed letter on a letterhead for the Whittier Extension Company. In response to Mr. Johnson's ealier postcard (Object ID: 2017.41.1.1344), Mr. Russell provides details regarding the tracts of land at the North Whittier Heights subdivision. Mr. Russell explains that the tracts range from 5 to 100 acres in size, are priced from $150 to $1,500 per acre, and have varying topographies. Mr. Russell specifies that some orange, lemon, walnut, and grape fruit orchards are available. Mr. Russell concludes by outlining the terms of sale and stating that Mr. Johnson will be sent a descriptive folder of the subdivision. There is a short handwritten note on the back of the document, but the text is hard to discern.
