A letter from H.A. Barton in Newport Beach, California to an unknown recipient. 6 December 1915. Mr. Barton wants to purchase 2 to 4 acres in the Whittier Foothill section. After seeing the recipient's advertisment, Mr. Barton is interested in a 12 acre property planted to Valencia oranges. Mr. Barton would like to make a deal in which he takes 2 acres of the property while another buyer takes the remaining 10. Mr. Barton also desires an arrangement in which he does not have to do team work on the orchard. With creases, wear, and stains on its back side, the object is in good condition overall.
