A letter from H.J. Ruess of H.J. Ruess & Company in Los angeles, California to Edwin G. Hart in Los Angeles, California. 6 April 1916. Mr. Ruess notes that a map of a tract that is south of Puente and East of North Whittier Heights has been enclosed with this letter. Mr. Ruess states that he is trying to quickly sell the 100 acre tract for about $35,000. If one of Mr. Hart's agents helps find a buyer, Mr. Reuss will split the amount received above $30,000 with him. There is a handwritten note on the back side of the document in which a third party discusses splitting the profit after a certain amount. With creases and minor acid burns, the object is in good condition overall.
