A letter from H.M. Jordan, Proprietor of The Jordan Citrus Nurseries, in Whittier, California to an unknown recipient. 27 January 1917. A handwritten letter on a letterhead for the Jordan Citrus Nurseries. Mr. Jordan compliments the way that the recipient has dealt with conflicting interests between parties in North Whittier, and expresses dissatisfaction for a Mr. Edwards. Mr. Jordan discusses a vote in which 2 new directors were elected, and states that he voted to retain Mr. Jannison in the hope that he could secure a superior deal for a packing house. However, Mr. Jordan insists that he will vote for the recipient in subequent elections. With creases, minor foxing, two folds, and minor acid burns, the object is in good condition overall.
