A letter from Harry E. Conwell in Dallas City, Illinois to the Whittier Extension Company in Los Angeles, California. 8 March 1918. In response to Mr. Russell's earlier letter (Object ID: 2017.41.1.1440), Mr. Conwell states that the commission which Mr. Russell has requested in unreasonably high. Mr. Conwell explains that he is open to paying a 5% commission for the company to handle his grove, and he asks for a response from Mr. Russell clarifying whether he will accept this rate. With a fold, creases, pin holes, minor acid burns, and rust stains, the object is in good condition overall.
