Description

A letter from Henry J. Buhrmann in Whittier, California to Edwin G. Hart in Los Angeles, California. 11 November 1913. A written letter in which Henry Buhrmann is enclosing his payment of $2.81 for taxes. Mr. Buhrmann has been in bed since October 8th because of broken ribs and is now just getting up and moving. He is hoping to get $1000 by the 15th of November, which he will use to pay for his land. Mr. Buhrmann is planing on building a home on his land and is wondering if he can tap the pressure pipe, used for irrigation, to have water delivered to his home. There are heavy creases from the letter being folded, browning along the top, pieces of an unknown substance (most likely glue) along the top edge, probably from being of a note pad, abrasion damage on the back along the folds, and soiling on the back, bottom left corner. This object is in good condition overall.
