Description

A letter from Herbert L. Cornish, General Sales Manager at the Herbert L. Cornish Company, in Los Angeles, California to Grover T. Russell in Puente, California. 4 February 1920. A typed letter on a letterhead for the Herbert L. Cornish Company. Mr. Cornish states that he has taken charge of a selling campaign for the remaining lands from a deal between the Imperial Valley Farm Lands Assocation and the Southern Pacific Land Company. Mr. Cornish explains that representative real estate agents, such as Mr. Russell, will be given a special commission and will be included in his company's advertisements if they participate in the campaign. Mr. Cornish states that the lands, which were part of a 47,000 acre purchase in the northern Imperial Valley, are priced from $90 to $175 per acre. Mr. Cornish encourages Mr. Russell to respond urgently if he is interested. With creases, minor tears, minor foxing, and moderate acid burns, the object is in good condition overall.
