Description

A letter from Ida Cummings in Casa Grande, Arizona to Edwin G. Hart. 10 September 1918. Having seen one of Mr. Hart's advertisements, Mrs. Ida Cummings states that she has 200 acres of land in the Casa Grande Valley and that she would like to sell 80 acres of the property. Mrs. Cummings explains that, of those 80 acres, 60 are planted to cotton and milo maize, and 13 are planted to alfalfa. Mrs. Cummings also explains that there are fruit trees and a 4-room house on the property. Mrs. Cummings states that she will accept a $16,000 trade, in which she wants to receive $6,000 cash, or a $14,000 sale, in which she wants to receive $7,000 cash and a mortgage. Mrs. Cummings asks for Mr. Hart to respond urgently. With creases and minor acid burns/discoloration, the object is in good condition overall.
