Description

A letter from J.C. Pearson in Covina, California to G.D. Maple. 19 February 1917. In response to an earlier letter from Mr. Maple, Mr. Pearson describes his 14 acre walnut grove in El Monte, California. Mr. Pearson prices the grove at $11,000 and states that it nets $700 per year. Mr. Pearson notes that, if tomatoes are planted between its rows, the grove can net $900 per year. With creases, minor tears, minor foxing, and two folds, the object is in good condition overall.
